About

I am a Ph.D. candidate at Dalhousie University, member of the SMART lab and advised by Dr. Tushar Sharma. My main research area is AI4SE. Specifically, I am interested in building AI systems that reason about software more efficiently and robustly, while also understanding how such models develop their reasoning about software. I pursue this by developing techniques that reduce unnecessary computation and by designing benchmarks that assess model capabilities beyond surface-level performance metrics. Ultimately, my goal is to develop AI systems that understand what matters in software tasks and can act effectively without relying on excessive computation or brute-force search.
